Advanced Courses

You may start an Advanced Course right after completion of the Open Water Course, or during your next diving holiday which you are planning with us, and thus widen your skills.

Your diving instructor will guide you surely through five specialties of the Advanced Divers‘ program, including navigation with different aids, buoyancy to perfection, night dives, diving in currents, fish identification, searching and recovery. These are the main topics that we teach in our Advanced Courses.

The navigation dive, the night dive and buoyancy to perfection is always held at our house reef, which is ideally suited for this purpose. The other dives are generally done off a boat/jeep if possible.

For the duration of the Advanced Course we lend you a diving computer free of charge.

If you would like to take photos or film under water, or if you would like to dive at a shipwreck, please contact us, and we will arrange your course to suit your requirements.

Do you sometimes push the button of your inflator a little too long, or do you feel that you are not quite weightless in the water?

We offer you a one day course, during which you can practice buoyancy skills with plenty of exercises, to float with the fish, safer diving, as well as enjoying the coral reefs.

We have a specially equipped buoyancy park in Naama and in Dahab where the work under water with your instructor will turn into a real pleasure. Playfully you will learn to adjust to different depths, and to adjust the air in the stabilizing jacket and in the lungs.

Do you feel a bit of panic when your guide calls out that the next dive is a “drift dive”?

Not sure about the entry/exit techniques and how to react in a current?

Planned and accomplished right, drift dives are one of the most enjoyable dives you can imagine.
In short theory lessons your Instructor will explain to you what is important to know when drift diving and how to conduct them in a safe way so you can have the maximum fun. When diving from the boat you will learn how to enter and exit the water in a safe way, how to descend and ascend with current and how to use a surface marker buoy.

We can show you an efficient way of how to find lost items underwater and how to retrieve them in a comfortable and safe way.

During your theory lessons your Instructor will show you the important points that you need to know when you are searching for lost items. Equipped with compass, search line, SMB and a lift bag you will practise with your Instructor the different Search & Recovery Techniques and bring small and big items to the surface with a lift bag.

There is the famous wreck, the "Thistlegorm", well within our reach as well as quite a few other ones.

We offer you the possibility of a two day course, where you can have 2 dives on the wreck of the "Thistlegorm".

Your diving instructor will guide you into the world of wreck-diving and skills, such as drawing a wreck, planning a wreck-diving trip, using the guide line, as well as observing the safety standards.

If you have gathered some diving experience, you may have encountered some situations where you were not sure whether to intervene or not. You would like to be able to help and assist other divers.

The Course for Rescue Divers offers you comprehensive training in stress avoidance, emergency management, and rescue diving.

You will learn, together with the other participants, to deal with various scenarios of emergency situations.

You should have taken a First Aid course (possibly in your home country) which should have included reanimation of heart and lungs.

Please bring along the certification of this course. Otherwise you can still take Emergency First Response here in combination with the Rescue Diver.
